Link does not work, but if it did I'd still get Tron and Neo on the horn...

Leadership seems to depend on the authority, like I don't want surgery performed on my brain by a monkey holding a poo-crusted club. Reincarnation seems like an "immortal" narcissist's idea of justifying their addiction to abuse. For example, this quote: "As man now is, God once was. And as God is, man may become." Even ancient alien theorists agree that every creature has a parent of sorts. Evolutionary theorists believe a particle eventually becomes an intelligent creature capable of becoming a powerful influence on the existence. But reincarnation?

It seems similar to spirit or body or other material possession, which I suppose is okay if you're posessing your own body, whatever laws that falls under. But what of memory? What kind of monster goes Manchurian Candidate on everyone so they suffer misery after misery then says, "Rape? Murder? It's okay, just live it up because in your next life the [enemy of choice] will be thy b1tchez."?

If I have any control over my sentience when my mortal body dies in 300 years, I'll do my best to let you know what's up. But if everyone's right, and you can reincarnate, or go to a rest place, or travel the cosmos, or become a god if you want... neato.

Just make sure the crystals are formed correctly for your needs (size, shape, density). They're not exactly tuning forks, but tuned they can be. Electricity, man.

Of course there is merit in your ideas. I honestly can't imagine what the world would be like if space travel remained science fiction. Liberate the innovators.

I found some data for you, BBFloyd. Enjoy some paranormal postulating on a question like: "Are inhuman(e) entities or aliens offering solutions to mankind's problems as a kind of Trojan Horse in order (tee-hee) to get their foot in the door so they can lead us into totalitarian world governance?"

What would Neo do?

Gary107, will you please point me in the right direction concerning the "Heaven could be taken by force" script? I don't remember any creature having a chance at crossing that particular treshold without Big Daddy's authorized whim. Lucifer waltzed into Heaven during Job's event no problem, but it's Earth that's perpetually fought over. Correct my eroneous points on the story.

I've always liked the idea that we, wether as a species or concentrated bits of intelligence, have always existed. Science does seem to historically trump "Godhood" here and there. But there is plenty scientific evidence that certain ancestors were as accurate with astronomy then as certain experts are now.

Basically, is "godhood" the word for the ongoing hobby of social and genetic engineering, or just an idea of superiority the human mind tends to enjoy? Damn, that's funny.
