Fells Point is a hot bed of paranormal activity. Its colorful and storied past—full of drinking, fighting and whoring (...and poisonings and deaths of homesick sailors) ensures there are plenty of restless souls floating around this historic waterfront area. It's a neighborhood where the shadow of Edgar Allan Poe still looms on it's uneven cobblestone streets.

At one point, he looked over the bank he noticed two little people standing about 1 foot tall. They had pale skins, little brown leather pants held up by suspenders, no shirts and little pointy hats made of what looked like leather.

In Webster’s dictionary, witchcraft is defined as the act or instance of employing sorcery, especially with malevolent intent: a magical rite or technique. The religious will say if you believe in God, and believe in what the Bible says, then you must believe in the powers of evil as well. You cannot take one side and then completely discount the other side...basically, evil power is real and witchcraft is the use of it. In reality, though, there is a very fine line between good and evil.

Several years ago, a reader asked me about poltergeists and if these entities had the ability to use audible communication. There were a few modern reports, but I wasn't sure if these were exaggerations produced by the witnesses. So I decided to look over some of the prominent historical cases and post a few that exhibit authenticity even though the commentary may be a bit folksy. I offer my opinion at the end of the post.

I felt that this couple was not in costume. There were no Halloween parties that time of year and I don't believe their reason to be there was to stage theatricality for the sake of getting attention. No, they were simply being whoever they were.

I have written extensively about the York County, PA Hex Murder (Rehmeyer Hollow) and some of the history of Pow-wow folk magic, Pennsylvania Dutch hex-meisters and witchcraft...including my personal experiences. Previous to the Rehmeyer murder was the Tumbling Run Valley 'Hex Cat' incident in Schuylkill County, PA. At the time, it was also a national story. I have included several reports of the incident and follow-up information.

One of the more infamous haunting investigations was the San Pedro Haunting or the Jackie Hernandez case. Dr. Barry Taff got involved in the case, along with cameraman Barry Conrad, in 1989 when he was asked to look into a house in San Pedro, California that was allegedly being haunted.

I remember reading an interesting article that referenced Tibetan Buddhist monks and their use of precognition. For thousands of years the use of remote viewing, in the middle of other spiritual activities, have dominated Tibetan culture. Back in 2009 a group of Indian tourists came to learn, from a few Tibetan monasteries, some extremely alarming and fascinating information.
