What do Governments know about Bizarre Creatures?Wednesday, May 22, 2013
By Nick Redfern
For absolutely decades, rumors, tales and legends have surfaced to the effect that government agencies all around the world and since at least the early to mid1800s onwards - have been secretly collecting and carefully studying data on bizarre beasts, extraordinary animals, and strange creatures. Lake monsters, psychic dogs and cats, sea serpents, flying monsters, werewolves, the Abominable Snowman, and the United States' huge, hair-covered man-beast known as Bigfoot: each and every one of them has attracted official, classified interest at one time or another, and sometimes for decades, no less. Not only that, those very same rumors, tales and legends have provoked numerous controversial and astounding questions, including... Does the Pentagon's top brass, deep in a secure underground bunker, secretly have one or more dead Bigfoot on ice?

By Stan Gordon
It was late afternoon on February 10, 2013, as two men stood in a parking area not far from Millsboro in Washington County just along the bank of the Monongahela River. It was still light outside and the weather was mild and dry at the time. As the men continued their conversation, one of them pointed to the river and said “look at that.” It took a moment for the other man to look toward the water and focus on what his friend was seeing.

In 1934, Albert Yashinsky of Shenandoah shot and killed Susan Mummey (‘Old Suss’) of Ferndale seven years after she supposedly hexed him as he worked in a field adjacent to the Mummey farm. Yashinsky is said to have muttered in prison, “Those eyes! Oh, those eyes, oh how I wanted to have them closed! I could not stand them!” This incident was also connected to an appearance of some weird zooform creature, though in this case it is more obvious.
Documentary Review: Eyes of the MothmanMonday, March 7, 2011
By Paranormal News
One thing’s for certain: like the toxic sludge left over from mismanaged World War II facilities in Point Pleasant, the Mothman is still out there. Somewhere. I’ve seen it, others have seen it, so it’s really fantastic to find film crews who take the subject much more seriously than you could ever get from a two minute ‘look at these freaks’ clip on the nightly news. Informative in all the right ways--despite some really creepy guests--you’ll appreciate the detail supplied here by the film’s producers.

MOST of us have come across a bizarre object during a beach stroll but have usually been able to write it off as a mangled jelly fish or the half-eaten carcass of some unfortunate animal.
While they were leaving the parking lot they both noticed a strange looking man crouched down by a tree near the edge of the forest. My friend slowed down his car as they continued to watch this man. The forest was dark, but they could see a halo of red light over his head. About that time he turned and stood up. Instantly a pair of huge dark butterfly-like wings sprung open from his back and he shot up into the canopy. As it ascended, they noticed the wings reflected light.
This curious article was published in the The Times Dispatch in Richmond, Va. on October 19, 1913: Finds Big Sea Monster at Titanic Wreck Scene
The creature in the photo has several unique physical attributes that differentiates it from typical Bigfoot sightings. The creature is erect, standing on two legs and appears to be between 5-6 feet tall. It has an elongated snout that appears dog-like as well as silver hair on its head reaching to it's shoulders. The creature's body is black and the left arm is visible bent at the elbow.
We then heard a howl that I immediately knew was not a mountain lion, coyote, coy dog, or a dying creature of any kind. It sustained its howl for what seemed an ungodly long time. Then came a knocking sound like wood on wood. This was not the sound of trees scrapping together in a wind. There was no wind, just a very very light breeze if any. I felt embarrassed to say, "The Uma." (pronounced Eww Ma by my uncles.) "Bigfoot." Crotch was too scared to contradict me (which he did about everything.).
He was man-sized, and he looked exactly like a werewolf from a bad b-movie. He had a shaggy, dark brown wolfman head with long pointed ears and a lighter brown muzzle. His hands were human-like as best I can remember, though they were covered in dark fur and he had long claws. He was wearing a red and black checked flannel shirt and blue jeans. I don't remember anything about his feet, whether he had shoes or claws, but his legs were straight, like a person's, not bent backwards like a dog.
Remarkably, the creature even managed to lay eggs that hatched into offspring shortly after being revived.
Amateur archaeologists found the bones of the creature in the debris of a rock slide, next to a cliff face close to the Glamorganshire Golf Club.
