What do Governments know about Bizarre Creatures?Wednesday, May 22, 2013
By Nick Redfern
For absolutely decades, rumors, tales and legends have surfaced to the effect that government agencies all around the world and since at least the early to mid1800s onwards - have been secretly collecting and carefully studying data on bizarre beasts, extraordinary animals, and strange creatures. Lake monsters, psychic dogs and cats, sea serpents, flying monsters, werewolves, the Abominable Snowman, and the United States' huge, hair-covered man-beast known as Bigfoot: each and every one of them has attracted official, classified interest at one time or another, and sometimes for decades, no less. Not only that, those very same rumors, tales and legends have provoked numerous controversial and astounding questions, including... Does the Pentagon's top brass, deep in a secure underground bunker, secretly have one or more dead Bigfoot on ice?
Formation of Strange Objects in the Monongahela RiverTuesday, March 12, 2013
By Stan Gordon
It was late afternoon on February 10, 2013, as two men stood in a parking area not far from Millsboro in Washington County just along the bank of the Monongahela River. It was still light outside and the weather was mild and dry at the time. As the men continued their conversation, one of them pointed to the river and said “look at that.” It took a moment for the other man to look toward the water and focus on what his friend was seeing.

In 1934, Albert Yashinsky of Shenandoah shot and killed Susan Mummey (‘Old Suss’) of Ferndale seven years after she supposedly hexed him as he worked in a field adjacent to the Mummey farm. Yashinsky is said to have muttered in prison, “Those eyes! Oh, those eyes, oh how I wanted to have them closed! I could not stand them!” This incident was also connected to an appearance of some weird zooform creature, though in this case it is more obvious.
Documentary Review: Eyes of the MothmanMonday, March 7, 2011
By Paranormal News
One thing’s for certain: like the toxic sludge left over from mismanaged World War II facilities in Point Pleasant, the Mothman is still out there. Somewhere. I’ve seen it, others have seen it, so it’s really fantastic to find film crews who take the subject much more seriously than you could ever get from a two minute ‘look at these freaks’ clip on the nightly news. Informative in all the right ways--despite some really creepy guests--you’ll appreciate the detail supplied here by the film’s producers.

About 40 ft. in front of me was what I can only describe as a little T-Rex dinosaur, about 2-2 1/2 ft in height. It didn't stop running as it dashed across the road into a smaller field. It was light reddish brown, stood on two legs and had a long tail that was straight out as it ran.
Have there ever been actual dog-headed humans, dog-like humanoids or bi-pedal dogs in recorded history? Let's look at a few references.
I recently received a few very odd incidents told to a colleague
The legend of Ben MacDhui has held my interest for quite awhile. Back in 1925, a respected and well known climber Professor Norman Collie reported to a stunned audience at a meeting of the Cairngorm Club his experiences with the Fear Liath Mor (as the 'Big Grey Man' is known locally) on Ben MacDhui in 1891. I recently received the following account that describes a personal experience on the mountain.
The following personal account was offered by the witness...who is now a part of the central Pennsylvania bi-pedal canine investigation team.
In celebration of author John Keel and the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, WV this weekend, I'm offering a few Mothman eyewitness accounts from the past.
I was on the main road and got within about 25 yards of the streetlight and there was a huge figure, about 7 feet tall I estimate. It was standing just back from the light and I could see just the legs. They were hair covered and bent backwards like a dog. I could not make out a face or other details as it was standing back.
Initially, an 'angel' was seen flying over Coney Osland. A few years later, another flying being was seen over Coney Island. It was described as 'a man with bat’s wings and improved frog’s legs.' There are also references to similar sighting in St. Louis and Kentucky. Could these be early Mothman sightings?
I received the following report on Tuesday. Because of a previous report, the UFORCOP / P&M Fortean Research teams have been preparing for an investigation in this area during the Fall. In light of this recent sighting & report, and for public concern, the teams will ramp up the start date.

Recently, The team documented a 'Furry One' sighting that took place approximately 5 miles from George Harvey's homestead. The location is still within the Navajo Reservation and along the San Juan River. This particular sighting is believed to be one of the family group members from the previous habituation report.
