>>Why are Polish men in London getting military call-up papers?
by Crispin Black

This happened to a friend of mine in London at the end of last week. At least 7,000 reservists have been recalled to the colours for immediate exercises lasting between 10 and 30 days.

They're told by the Polish authorities that the call-ups are "routine": but the men say they haven't been asked before and they're well aware of the growing alarm in Warsaw at President Putin's aggression. Three weeks ago, their Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, called a press conference to warn that "the world stands on the brink of conflict, the consequences of which are not foreseen… Not everyone in Europe is aware of this situation."

from a cousin north of the line in CMOD [Canadian Ministry of Defense {"Keeping Canada free for over 200 years"} their way of saying they won the war of 1812] the reason Poland is the first to mobilize is because when it comes to the Polish army you must realize it takes time to train young men how to ride, handle a horse, and carry a lance at a full gallop.

That's horrible. I'm sure the polish army has modernized and have crossbows now.

it is clear that you are jealous of the level of my sense of humour that comes from advanced studies in philosophy,
mathematics and military history. You have other colourful writing skills of your own, but your humour has not yet reached my level of development, "soldiers of the Empire press on!"

The Poles did defeat Trotsky and the Red Army in 1919 to their credit. When Hitler sent in his Nazi tank formations in September 1939 he claimed he was doing it for the sake of protecting the Germans living in Polish territory. Putin will use the same reasoning when he sends he Russian army into the eastern Ukraine, he goes in to "protect" the Russians living there.
It has been 75 years since the last World War, should there not be a better "punch line" to these sad historical jokes? Just asking.

The reasoning you use comparing hitler to putin is in my opinion correct. Will there be another blitzkreig? What better time than the beginning of spring?

it is reported on Godlike Productions.com that President B. O. has sent "some" American troops to the Ukraine for
military training drills. Russia is having Nuke training drills just like we are.

President B. O. to President Putin: "Keep Off the Grass [in the Ukraine]."
Putin to B.O. "..and about Syria?"

Be the first house on your block to have your very own "It can withstand 2300 lbs. of pressure per square inch" fall out shelter. Summer building spree through September.

Maybe president O would like to send my mother in law to the Ukraine instead of troops. That would be the proper way to utilize the battleaxe.

Putin would likely consider your battleaxe mother-in-law an unacceptable provocation. We do not want to push world opinion
his way, let's stick to the issues of the Ukraine and Syria and any spin off that comes from Israel/Iran and that still "missing" Boeing 777. Drone the Boeing 777 and hand your mother-in-law over to the KGB? I do not want us to lose Putin as a loyal junior partner when it comes to running world affairs. I like what he has done in Syria so far, having gotten them to collect all of their chemical weapons into just one place. Syria and the Crimean are issues relating to the Russian Navy.
We need to be able to understand where they are coming from in these matters. Perhaps, President B.O. wants to end his last Presidential term without taking us all into World War III? The SDSU Malcolm A. Love library has a Presidential "rabbit hole" in it's basement that can withstand 2300 lbs. of pressure per square inch, it cost $ 600,000 to install it back in 1968. There are said to be perhaps two dozen such structures around. That way you can not be sure which hole the rabbit is in. A Happy Easter to us all.

interesting that the shooter at Fort Hood was on "medication." You can detect the not so human among us by our chemical reaction to human medications.
