Higgs Particle (God Particle) theory. Share | 12>JOSMAN087 posted:8/5/2011 10:21:43 AM I have been reading up a little on the Higgs Particle recently (God Particle) and have a theory that i am not sure has come to the surface yet. I read in a national geographic arctical (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2008/03/god-particle/achenbach-text/1) that Theoretical physicist explained the particle as mud and that the other particles (electrons, neutrons, etc.) are like the shoes walking through the mud. But my theory is what if the Higgs particle isn't a bunch of little particles that are forcing against the others, but a gigantic paricle that has all other particles inside and that is why there is resistance. Now when i say gigantic i mean the universe. What if all we are is a speck inside one god particle forcing our way around and that is why nobody has found it. Not because it is too small to see, but too big to see. Yet. But this also brings me to another conclusion, what if it is a God Particle because it created all particles inside it that would mean that we are a part of God and that God is all around us. And faith is it trying to talk to us like we would if we were a microbe as if we learned how. And thats what Angels, Demons, Jesus, and Faith are all about. Just a thought and i ran with it.spiritech0 posted:8/5/2011 2:20:36 PM Okay, I'm gonna run alongside you here, J-man. Theories concerning quantum physics always tread the path of things misunderstood, and hence called "paranormal", am I wrong? But the moment science makes a breakthrough and it eventually becomes a component of modern conveniences, there's no doubt, or hope, or faith because it becomes common knowledge. Like the Internet. That required overcoming obstacles like sending things into outer space, and what a strange trip that was for modern man in the last century, right? The idea that there's a supreme intelligence coordinating the creation of infinite worlds for beings to inhabit and evolve or basically get smarter and have communion with each other no matter the distance is something I cannot be dissuaded from. Quantum physics and theories nothwithstanding.Skeptic47 posted:8/5/2011 4:21:20 PM "The idea that there's a supreme intelligence coordinating the creation of infinite worlds for beings to inhabit and evolve or basically get smarter and have communion with each other no matter the distance is something I cannot be dissuaded from."Closed minded: not ready to receive to new ideaswordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwnspiritech0 posted:8/5/2011 8:47:22 PM Actually, I tried being raging atheist until the gajillionth time I blurted out "Oh my God! God damn it!" in an awful situation (, and my life was saved. My mind was suddenly truly open to the fact that reality is beyond mortal senses, and my life was changed. I'd say that with so many geniuses and so called gods to acknowledge on this planet and/or otherwise, you're the one not accepting new OR old ideas. On that, I found a site more to your intellectual level. There's a book titled "The Believing Brain" by Dr. Michael Shermer that you should read.=http://shop.skeptic.com/merchant.mvc?&Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SS&Product_Code=b144HB=Enjoy!JOSMAN087 posted:8/5/2011 11:36:47 PM I may not have been clear. I was stating that this was just a passing thought. I get a lot of these passing thoughts in great detail but for some reason i can never remember them an hour of few hours later, so i had to get it out. Skeptic47 posted:8/6/2011 1:16:49 AM Regardless of what you say, Spiritech0 - Having a belief that you have decided you CANNOT be dissuaded from makes you closed minded.Again - are you basing your theory on any proof? My guess is no.So what you've done is thought up, or read/heard, a theory and decided it's correct. Or, in other words, you built facts around evidence.Skeptic47 posted:8/6/2011 1:17:44 AM facts around theory*gemini663181 posted:8/6/2011 10:10:58 AM Good for you josman. Its good to think and create as well as intake. The world as well as the universe is bigger than the know it alls that you will meet on here. If they knew all the answers they would not be here on the internet. They would be in labs and in the field studying and finding answers to all of our questions. Most of us can read books. And most of us can believe in nothing other than themselves. Be patient, it is the one who can accept that he knows nothing that can learn everything.JOSMAN087 posted:8/6/2011 12:52:33 PM Like i said before, thust a passing thought, i dont believe it nor do i have any strong feelings other than the fact that i wanted it stated to others that i had this thought. Maybe i should have said, "That would be WACKY, huh?" Or maybe i shouldn't have started off saying it was a "Theory" when just an "Thought".spiritech0 posted:8/6/2011 11:00:21 PM #47... #663281... #87...There's a book titled "The Believing Brain" by Dr. Michael Shermer that you could read.=http://shop.skeptic.com/merchant.mvc?&Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SS&Product_Code=b144HB=Enjoy!Skeptic47 posted:8/8/2011 6:20:26 AM Yeah Josman - don't listen to the people who pretend to know it all (ahem, Gemini; who knows-it-all so well he doesn't even have to read people's posts before attacking their character), come to the dark side - Join me in doubt and skepticism!BeeLever posted:8/8/2011 6:21:46 AM Join us in logic and investigation.spiritech0 posted:8/8/2011 10:13:59 AM No cookies - no cooperation.ArchangelMetatron posted:8/8/2011 11:47:36 AM But, but, I heard they have cookies on the dark side.
