ghost of an older woman reappearing. Share | kiliana posted:4/19/2010 1:28:39 PM when i was younger i was very often visited by the ghost of an older woman, she was always wearing a black gown, she acted as a parent to me when i had a bad dream or couldnt get to sleep, she would always sing to me. i dont live in that house anymore but ive started to see her again late at night, when im unable to sleep. im not sure how to percieve her being around again, i dont know if this might be a good thing or a bad thing, she doesnt seem to mean harm but she doesnt sing anymore, she just stares at me a lot.help please? im confused.tapuout4985 posted:4/19/2010 1:59:01 PM Have you continued trying to communicate to her. It sounds very much like she is a sentient being, be it ghost or other spirit, who seems to be attached to you. I think that her lack of singing sounds like she may be depressed. If you interacted with her when you were younger and now you don't she might just miss you. This sounds so much like my first ghost encounter, I hope I can help. When I was about four I was laying awake in my bed when my closet door opened and an elderly looking man in a sort of loose fitting robe with a hat or hood of some sort entered my room. He was slightly transparent, and had a slightly blue-grey coloring to him. If you were able to communicate with her, I would see if she can tell you who she is and maybe why she watches you. It would be extra good to know if she is attached to you, or if she is there voluntarily.kiliana posted:4/19/2010 2:26:59 PM i have tried to talk to her but shes very distant from me, not at all like how she was when i was younger, while you ghost sounded much more heavenly then mine, mine always comes from the corner of my bedroom and she seems as if she glides but doesnt walk. her presence is much more disturbed but i know she is the same as wheni was younger just much more troubled now, her name is Azhelda. but the lack of singing makes me worry because she stares in like a knavish way. kind of like a scold. ive asked why shes here numerous times she always tells me that 'its not your time, i will watch till then.'tapuout4985 posted:4/19/2010 2:34:37 PM Alright, I'm gonna do some research and see what I can find out.tapuout4985 posted:4/19/2010 3:52:36 PM Does she speak with an accent? Do you have any idea of the ethnicity of the old woman? What would she sing when you were young? Just trying to get a better idea of who or what she is. kiliana posted:4/19/2010 7:56:50 PM she sounded like she was persian or french maybe austrian she was very pale, she always wore black like a widow in the 1600's. i looked up the song she used to sing its called a cemetary these are the lyrics. This quiet Dust was Gentlemen and Ladies,And Lads and Girls; Was laughter and ability and sighing,And frocks and curls. This passive place a Summer's nimble mansion,Where Bloom and BeesFulfilled their Oriental Circuit,Then ceased like these.tapuout4985 posted:4/19/2010 11:39:52 PM That's an Emily Dickinson poem, would place the spirit in the Victorian times, which would also explain the black clothing, it's a bit later than the 1600's, but that's not the issue. Is anyone in the house perhaps pregnant or trying to get pregnant?kiliana posted:4/20/2010 11:26:09 AM okay and no no one is though my mother has lupis and cant get preganat.tapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 12:00:12 PM Interesting. At this point I believe that the spirit that you are seeing is more than likely the spirit of an ancestor who has attached themself to you. Sort of like a self-appointed guardian angel. The alternative that I believe is possible (but rarer and less likely) is that the spirit is a person who is perhaps waiting to be reincarnated, she may have seen something in you that has led her to believe that you would make a good parent for her next tour of duty on Earth (so to speak). Either way I don't believe there is anything to be afraid of, I would continue trying to communicate, trying different things. You may try to read another Emily Dickinson poem to her, something that is a little less somber to see if you can lighten her mood, or if that doesn't work try somehting somber but by a different poet, like Edgar Allen Poe.tapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 12:01:12 PM In Reply To:kiliana posted:4/20/2010 11:26:09 AM okay and no no one is though my mother has lupis and cant get preganat. My prayers are with your mother. As I understand it, with modern treatment lupis can be managed very well.kiliana posted:4/20/2010 12:43:09 PM thank you so much for all your help ill try reading to her i think she'd like ittapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 1:10:25 PM Hope it helps. Keep us updated on what goes on, if anything changes. Those ideas are still just a best guess, so they could be wrong.Shadow of Man posted:4/20/2010 1:46:45 PM My explaination may be a bit more uneasy. Singing and music produces vibrational frequencies, as does all spiritual energy, vibrational frequencies affect other frequencies both positively as well as negatively. As someone whose profession has me performing many exorcisms, and dealing with negative and demonic entities, I have learned that this kind of energy exchange is usually not benevolent. Often these kinds of entities are shape-shifters and assume a benevolent form and can take along time to achieve what it wants. Over time, this contact does change. The key to this is the words in the song. Communication is not a good idea, for that is another exhange of energy and offering energy in such a case can "speed things up". My suggestion is to contact someone who not only can see spirit, but knows how to deal with such spirits, and make sure this contact is not malevolent. Note how you feel as it arrives and departs, that can sometimes reveal it's more true nature. kiliana posted:4/20/2010 2:19:16 PM ive seen spirits ever since i was young, and have never really felt threatened by them, i have run into demonic presences before though they were uneasy experiences they respect me or so i would guess. spirits of all are drawn to me, i act as a way out or as a way in. ive seen many priests about this though i am not comfortable around priests, they've told me to be careful but could really not help me with them. i dont know how to detour spirits from myself.tapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 2:58:44 PM If you are sensitive to spirit energies the spirits will be attracted to you. It seems to me that most people are capable of seeing and interacting with spirits, but block that ability and sort of callous themselves against spirits through years of the old mantra "there's no such thing" and "it's your imagination." I hate using TV or movies for explanations, but it's like in Medium or Ghost Whisperer, because the main characters can see spirits the ghosts seek them out. I have seen people who have this problem try many ways to deter the spirits through a variety of means. Religious amulets are the most common. It doesn't matter what religion so long as you have faith in the amulet you wear. Another method was the placing of magnets around the home to disrupt spirit energies. If I remember right, there is a posting about that somewhere on this website. Don't know how that ever worked out. Having a priest, rabbi, Imam, shaman, or equivalent bless you, your house, your property, your possessions, and anything else that seems handy or appropriate can help. tapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 3:11:37 PM In Reply To:tapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 2:58:44 PM If you are sensitive to spirit energies the spirits will be attracted to you. This is less safe, but is what I did. I researched into demonology, mysticism, psychics, etc. Then I created several personalized amulets taken mostly from the Key of Solomon for the protection of the wearer from malevolent energies and dangers. I searched for, collecting, polishing, and placing precious and not so precious stones that are supposed aid in the projection of and increasing of psychic abilities. Then I began collecting different incantations and exorcisms from various cultures. End result when something I don't like swings by I blast at it with my will and every spell, incantation, exorcism, and bad name I can think of. I'm basically the mystic equivalent of a radical right-wing survivalist militia nut. Not smart, but with the exception of one quirky Brownie, it's been effective.kiliana posted:4/20/2010 5:28:44 PM im not trying to get rid of this spirit though she is a part of metapuout4985 posted:4/20/2010 5:46:27 PM In Reply To:kiliana posted:4/20/2010 5:28:44 PM im not trying to get rid of this spirit though she is a part of meI still believe that the spirit is probably safe. However, Shadow of Man is correct in saying you should try to find another medium in the area to come and check the spirit. If it turns out that it is a dangerous spirit, something malevolent, the above is how I prepared for such entities and how others have tried. Also, you should find a reliable medium to help train your ability because it sounds like you are a natural medium, and training can only help you in the future.kiliana posted:4/20/2010 7:56:08 PM i know what you mean and ill look for another near by medium thanks so much Please log in or become a member to add a post.
