Polar Bear Spirit Sighted Close To School!!! whackytobbacy posted:4/22/2010 6:36:45 AM I need help.I live near an ordinary elementary school in the north of Sweden and I usually take a walk around the area with my Labrador. On the night of the 8th of April I spotted what looked like a wounded white bear. As I approached it turned and looked straight at me and growled. The dog and me froze in our places. Then it was suddenly gone. After this I have seen it two more times but I have never approached it again. I have never heard of an animal ghost so I gues it is some sort of spirit. Since it is white I suspect it might be a polar bear, but I'm not sure. I feel scared everytime I step into the woods and the dog is not her usual self. She just lies on the couch all day, afgter the first encounter with the entity. So I would really appreciate any advice or tips on how to exorcise or banish the spirit.tapuout4985 posted:4/22/2010 1:52:59 PM I've never had an experience with an animal spirit (not for a lack of trying), but this intrigues me. I find it interesting that it appears wounded. Now I would beware it's presence because it could be an actual wounded polar bear and that would be dangerous enough. Because it left you scared I would assume that it is not a spirit guide. It is also interesting that it appears wounded, which signifies weakness and vulnerability. If it was malevolent I think it would have tried to eat you, either out of self defense or to help it heal. I would be very cautious. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on animal spirits can help.whackytobbacy posted:4/22/2010 2:29:44 PM I doubt it was a real polar bear since, well, they live in the Arctic and NOT even near Sweden (a common misconception). And I am still not entirely reassured that it's not dangerous. That growl was a real threat. I am queing for a meeting with a Sami shaman who might be able to answer some questions about the spirit. But I'll keep my eyes open for any advice on the forum!tapuout4985 posted:4/22/2010 2:54:14 PM Wow. Didn't know there were any Sami shamans left. I thought the church had ganked 'em all centuries ago, but that would definately be the place to go. tapuout4985 posted:4/22/2010 3:20:37 PM In Reply To:whackytobbacy posted:4/22/2010 2:29:44 PM I doubt it was a real polar bear since, well, they live in the Arctic and NOT even near Sweden (a common misconception). To understand what it is you may need to look at such things as location, people in your life at that time, things that you may be getting involved with, etc. Please log in or become a member to add a post.
