Recent Public Comments Article: Haunted America Update: #460 - Marengo CavePosted:6/17/2004 12:00:00 AMIt's always fun to find an article that is as well written as this is about the many features, attractions and mysteries of my home area. Being from Southern Indiana in Perry County, I know of and have visited many of our cave systems. Wyandotte Caves, big and little, seems to be visited more by tourists. Maybe its because they are located right off the scenic highway that runs along the Ohio River with its beautiful views. I've also spent many summers canoeing down the Big Blue River thanks to Cave Country Canoes. I recommend the 14 mile all day trip with a cooler full of brews and fried chicken in plastic storage bags. My home area is rich in history and mysteries that are not well known. Ancient Indian Mounds, caves, waterfalls and quite a few ghosts blended with stories of the unexplained and UFO sightings. Thank you for the article and in helping me to get the word out about my location and its many mysteries.
