You, your statement was just what I wanted to hear and it's a pleasure to know someone has such vast knowledge. You are correct and I shouldn't be so generic on term "Ghost". I cannot agree more that the variety of entities that can cross into our dimension staggering.
No I have not been to an ancient place outside of the county I live in. I may do that some day soon, I have some places in mind.
I chuckled when you mentions the "Books of shadows, necronomicon, keys of Solomon, mysteries of bla bla ect. Mostly are junk."
It is amazing how practitioners of to day will hazardously just take some book and its threads of truth and melt it together with some other practice and call it something new. I call it a mess! And dangerous. Not only do they want to feel special they are wanting power, like a 3 year old with a loaded gun. I to have studied up on much of the materials of which you speak, I agree with you. I realize my ideas are not new or going to change the face of ghost hunting. Maybe the Egyptians had something to their burial practices by taking the stuff with them too the tomb down to the pet cat. So no imprints or residual ghost patterns would follow them.

Another thing, why is it we don't see ghosts of American Indians, Daniel Boone types or other settlers?
Always seams to be the Revolutionary War, Civil War, Victorian age to the present. At the ghosts that leave enough info to tell.

Like to hear reports of Ancient Egyptian ghosts, maybe a Viking ghost, Romans, and so on.
Perhaps there may be a time limit or the geomagnetic bonds deteriorate after so long?

I heard a conversation in the room bantering on like a Jerry Lewis skit. So I entered the doorway and there it was!
A male ghost, with it shirt on backwards, lecturing my lamp about the weather and flailing his hands at it.
All the sudden he notice me, attempted to throw a book at me. Some how he managed to hit himself in the head, did a pratfall to the floor and vanished. I left the lamp on in-case this moron ghost wanted to go into the light.

In a nutshell, within the ghost community it is common to believe that a ghost is some disturbed dead person for whatever dramatic reason has the essence of being stuck haunting this reality at some familiar location. The spirit can be sent into the mysterious light thus letting our trouble spirit find some peace. In part gives the paranormal teams some frame work to start with and base an explanation off of. Sounds pretty cut and dried right?
Does anyone ever wonder where this assembly of a theory comes from? Good question?

I can speak from an experience, I do believe ghosts exist. After seeing an apparition run through a house with four other people watch the same thing. The ghost had blue jeans, a belt, a whit T-shirt. It was see through, misty, and the forms head was faded out, the hands and feet blurry. Amazingly cool.
Here is the thing, I didn't wonder about poor ghost mans soul, or if he suffered in this house in life. I really thought deep about what it was showing me. In the room with the four other people who were going on about who must have died here. I said to them, "Folks what does a dead spirit need with clothing, the cloths didn't die a miserable death?" They stopped like how dare I question the dead. "If he really was trying to haunt us or freak us out, I think some grim reaper look would do the job."

So I cooked up my own ideas over the years or a theory with a nugget of science fact tossed in.
The earth is s huge iron dynamo of Geo-magnetic forces. At times there are magnetic storm roaming all over this planet, some weak all the way to brutal and most invisible to the naked eye. But yet at times we can see an example of these forces at work, The Aurora Borealis, which is very ghostly acting.
Now for the ghosts: Picture a civil war soldier on a battle field at the right place and the right time during a rare and localize magnetic storm event. The soldier is hit invisibly by a surge of invisible magnetic storm for say 2 minutes. Consider the earth he is standing on is like a magnetic medium, such as a cassette tape or even a set of now charged particle. The soldier may even feel some dizziness as an effect.

Enter the 21st century and imagine I am a grounds keeper at that civil war battlefield on a rare day when a magnetic storm arrive, the hair on the back of my neck rises, due to static in the air. All of the sudden the storm reacts to the recording in the earth and shows me a partial play back, maybe even with sound or voices. Depending on the storm I may only see part of it. It is very random.

So after my theory here is what we have:
The ghost has a civil war history and intense troubling situation.
Civil war soldier with clothes on.
It's a ghostly projection, can't touch it, and may give of residual sensations.
Repeating and action like a recording of a projection.

The theory fills the criteria for a ghost, and I didn't include poltergeists or any other thing else here,
Applying to Just the basic ghost model.
Next stop, now I need some cash and technology to test it. (Laugh Out Loud)



Anyone else think about these things or have ideas about what ghost might be?

Question: What the is difference remote viewing, out of body experience, Astral travel, Etheric projection, scrying in a crystal ball, Psychic whatever with the mind, etc?

In 2029 Apophis will have a close encounter with Earth, Its diameter is approximately 270 meters (885 ft). Apophis would pass through a gravitational keyhole, a precise region in space no more than about a half-mile wide,that would set up a future impact on April 13, 2036. However it is too early to predict what the asteroid may or may not do. Good news is we will be able to see it clear as looking at the moon and it will pass under our satellites, so that is kinda close.
