Recent Public Comments Forum: Paranormal Experience(s)Posted:6/13/2011 4:34:51 PMThat is truly great to hear, Monica. You're right... sometimes sharing your experiences with others is not only therapeutic for yourself but also for others. Hence, that is one of the goals of our show... by featuring a few individuals' stories, we want to raise awareness to others who've been traumatized by a paranormal experience that they are not alone, that they're not crazy, that it's okay to get help, that they don't have to deal with their trauma by themselves.Forum: Paranormal Experience(s)Posted:6/13/2011 3:41:35 PMThanks very much for your input jaguarsky! You are right about the challenges. We are very careful in selecting the appropriate therapists for this program. They need to be specialized in treating all kinds of trauma and they need to have an open-minded approach in helping individuals with paranormal trauma without any bias. Fortunately, we've found very good candidates who are willing to put their career on the line to participate b/c trauma is trauma and the after-effects from such trauma are real and serious. We also have an extensive screening process to make sure the subjects are grounded, mentally stable people who experienced something extraordinary.Forum: Paranormal Experience(s)Posted:6/13/2011 3:34:33 PMHi Monica,Thank you for your willingness to share your story. We know it's not an easy thing to do. Unfortunately, at this time, we are limited to finding and helping cases in the U.S.There may be paranormal support groups in England where you can feel comfortable sharing your story and receiving support/advice from others who may have had similar experiences.Forum: Paranormal Experience(s)Posted:6/13/2011 3:30:59 PMThank you Gemini663181! (I apologize for our delay in getting back with you). On our program, the client/patient would work with a licensed psychotherapist in therapy sessions in order to get to the root of their issues associated with their paranormal encounter and consequential trauma. We want to hear about your paranormal experience(s)and how they may have effected your day-to-day life because we want to help you.It is my assumption that the after effect can sometimes cause an unwanted character change. The focus of the therapy provided, on our program, will not be to debunk, disprove, or prove a phenomenon… rather it’ll be about treating the trauma that has resulted from the claimed experience. Here's a bit of what we are looking for:1.Individuals willing to tell their story2.Individuals who have serious anxiety issues and/or trauma because of a paranormal experience(s)3.Individuals who’ve reached a state of crisis that impairs them from living a fully functional life (i.e. they can’t sleep, they’re agoraphobic, they’re disconnected from society or family/friends)4.Individuals who are open to therapyYou or someone you know may have been effected by paranormal experiences and we want you to know that you are not alone. These experiences are not rare. We want to hear your story, how you have been effected and we want to help you. Thanks guys,You can e-mail me(John) at PTCasting@sfpseattle.com Forum: They Dont Seem To Leave Me Alone?Posted:4/27/2011 12:47:08 PMHi there, I read your posting on I am very interested in hearing more of your story (privately) if your interested.I am working on a project for a TV production company which is aimed at helping those traumatized by paranormal experiences. Also, this site http://www.haunted-places.com/investig.htm lists investigative and support groups for each state. Also, as matkavlk mentioned, talking to a mental health professional might be beneficial just to even figure out the root of the issue. Best wishes to you.
