Fear and the inability to face the truth are probaly the biggest culprits in preventing the paranormal from being investigated by scientists and the general public. Sadly, fear of knowing everyone will eventually die probaly keeps a lot of people in their bedrooms and away from the things that can bring them some level of enjoyment. Facing paranormal creatures and their airships startled me long before I began attending DuPont Elementary School in Hopewell, Virginia. My only recourse was to tell the "grownups" around me what I was seeing almost constantly. Most laughed at my explanations of seeing gliding ghosts and floating boomerangs and saucers, but one of my favorite aunts, Thelma Tatum, enjoyed my "cute little" frightening stories and retold them to many people, including my children decades later. After seeing UFOs while stationed in the US Air Force and investigating strange encounters for MUFON in the 1990s, I am convinced all abnormal events, namely - paranormal encounters, are connected. Bigfoot, small aliens, giant creatures, flying saucers, ghosts, monsters, elves, orbs, and every conceivable oddity are connected and possibly controlled by one force whose objective is to challenge our minds' flexibility while our flesh and blood bodies exist in this time-space environment. Are all paranormal events "Divine Curses" planned obstacles placed in front of us during our life's journey? Is life just a test - only a test?
