Also let me add that the response you received was completly unprofessional from "Dave". Looks like "sound" leadership there, LOL.

Jeff, interesting response, but I will say this outloud, In past communique with members of the MUFON orginization, I came to the conclusion that they are less worried about the science and more focused on the almighty dollar. I don't give them much credibility any longer. I could be wrong. I havne't kept up with them in many years.

Ok, I thought we had put this to bed back in the 80's.

All of this relative "new" talk of the black eyed children puts me in mind of an incident back in High School. I was a teenager and myself and another friend of mine were cruising around in a nearby, reliativly small city and a girl in the back seat of a car driven by her parents caught my eye. I was not sure why at first, but we followed them to Wal Mart and I parked and  I boldly go over to the car where the girl was sitting, listening to the radio while her parents shopped. As I approached her I noticed the blackness of her eyes and the attraction instant. I had never been that bold up to that point or since in meeting women. As I never actually formally went out with her or pursued a relationship with her, I had never thought of it as being an extraordinary meeting, except of myself being out of character on wanting to meet her so intensely and honestly thought it was just a pigmentation problem with her eyes; problem meaning different , not a problem , problem, LOL, if that makes sense.Thoughts anyone?

I just saw the news. Hopkins research is invaluable in answering some of the questions of the alien abduction phenom.. He was a good man and will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers go out his close friends and family.

J,christopher, Lets not bring age into this, LOL, I'm 43 myself, not far behind you and I have had a general interest in this sort of topic since I was a child. So, I have, more or less been a student of ufology for more than 30 years and myself dealing with the "dreams" and "experiences" that I have personally have had to weed out over the years. These sort of stories have been floating around for years. Before the advent of the internet it was magazines like FATE and UFO Magazine and books written by knowledgable people that have worked for NASA, Defense Contractors and the such, but as the internet grew so did the explosion of information and I believe that the truth is out there and I await the day that is is confirmed openly and publicly.L

I go to know Barbara Bartholic in 1999 when I was questioning some of my own past experiences and even visited in her modest home outside of Tulsa Oklahoma. From my experience with Barbara and her husband Bob, was one of genuine acceptance and respect and whenever I visited her or talked to her on the phone, made you feel better than before you called her. In her obituary in the Tulsa World, quoted her sister as saying "Barbara just had this way of making people feel important-like you were the only person in the world". No truer words were ever spoken of Barbara.     I do not pretend to be an eloquent writer of any sorts and will fail to do justice to one of the greatest women that I have ever known, but I would be amiss if I did not write this for my own selfish reasons.     The first time that I visited her, at her home outside of Tulsa, she openly discussed with me the many many individuals that had sought her out for help in rationalizing their own experiences and she showed me the hundreds of tapes and interviews that she had conducted over the years. Although Barbara did not get the global publicity, fame and riches such investigators such as Hopkins, Mack or Streiber, she collected as much, if not more valid research as any of them.    Her husband Bob passed away from the result of a hit and run automobile accident on Christmas day 2009. Bob was as genuine as Barbara and welcomed me into their home when I visited and was extremely nice to me always. Barbara passed away, almost a year later in November of 2010, which I think was the end result of the hit and run accident the year before, which by the way is still "unsolved" to this day.     It is my hope that Barbara's family will do something with the research she had gathered over the years in a final tribute to her efforts. But most importantly, I want to say good bye to my friend Barbara, who touched my life in such a way that can not be articulated here. She was a friend and a confidant and she will be missed by all who knew her.     Thank you Barbara for all of your support over the years. Logan.
