On the ends of the bales - which he had earlier rolled like large cigarettes - were ’Smiley’ faces, some with eyes open, others with them closed. And it wasn’t just a few that had been given a warm ‘G’day’ face. Mr Neill counted grins on more than 30 of his 200 bales which had been left out in the paddock to dry.
