Charlotte witness can't identify 11 lights moving in formation

A Charlotte, NC, witness with an aviation background reported watching an unknown "formation of lights in the sky below the cloud ceiling over southern Mecklenburg County," according to December 18, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The witness was driving south on I-485 toward Matthews, NC, from I-77 when 11 lights were observed directly overhead.
