Controlled orb reported moving up from ground over Maine town

A Maine couple driving along Route 112 in the Bar Mills-Buxton area about 5 p.m. on December 15, 2012, reported watching a "glowing, bluish-white orb" that silently moved up from ground level, made a turn and disappeared into the western sky, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The couple was driving to a grocery store at the time the object was first noticed. They thought the object might have been the planet Venus "because it glowed so brilliantly."
