Few U.S. witnesses get as close as 20 feet to a UFO

The average UFO witness in the U.S. seems to be observing an object from a fairly safe distance while a small number of witnesses have been within 20 feet of the object, according to closed case testimony for this year available October 25, 2012, from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
