The Air Force colonel who coordinated the cover-up for the Air Force's Project Blue Book UFO study in the 1960s, Col. David Shea, has received the Lauren D. Lyman Award for outstanding achievement in aerospace communications from the Aerospace Industries Association, a trade association representing companies including Boeing, Lockheed-Martin and Raytheon.
