Whenever I do my regular tasks throughout the day I find myself thinking about other situations, unable to focus on the task at hand unless I try to. Example: I'm doing the laundry and see one of my favorite shirts, this object makes me think for some reason...and my imagination has an image where my brother takes and starts wearing it, I am a very cleanly individual and the thought of him wearing it grosses me out. The next day he is wearing it with pit stains lol. Forethought? or just random coincidence of a probable conclusion?  This is just one example... i have these images frequently while doing random things, and cannot tell if its just a thought, or the future...

I actually don't see psychic abilities as much more than a refined use of foresight.  The human brain is absorbing so much more information than can actually be processed as conscious thought it's amazing.  I think some people are either born with or develop a heightened ability to process this information.  It allows them to process excess information and come to an accurate conclusion as to what is going to happen.  I see this a lot with my cell phone.  I almost always pull it out of my pocket before it actually starts ringing.  I don't know if it is because I have psychic ability to predict that, or if it is because some part of me recognizes the tiny change in the electro-magnetic field around it when a call is connected.

I agree with tapuout4985 about foresight and processing information. I personally believe though that everyone has "psychic" abilities; the problem is sorting out foresight from actual psychic events. When we "predict" the mundane we have very little proof of fore-knowlege, but if you predict something outside the norm, or something that does not follow the logical direction, then you have a little more to work with. Now as for your bro wearing your shirt, it could be that he picked up your thoughts about his wearing of the shirt and acted on it. See how this works?

Its almost scary, if he picked up on my thoughts, i really have to be careful what i think. I haven't got the ferrari ive been thinking about though.

This is my posting from the Hell thread.  There are a few old threads if you want to read all the different versions of the afterlife people believe in."In 2007 I had a series of visions that came while meditating where a self illuminating being appeared to me and showed me places that I feel are best described as Heaven and Hell.  This person appeared as a man who must have stood something like 8 feet tall, he wore wore a silver robe over a white tunic and pants, he had long brown hair and a long dark beard, I don't remember what color his eyes were, but he had a large angular nose.  Other than the height I know that if I gave that description to a Christian they would say it was Jesus, and a Hindu may very well say it was Krishna.  This person never spoke to me but instead put a hand on my shoulder and with the other he gestured off into the distance with a sweep of his arm where a vision appeared in the sky.  It was like looking through a window or portal of sorts.  This vision was of a place that was a series of large castle like structures that floated in a void, but were connected by a sort of highway system.  Inside of each of these structures was a complete world full of people, flora, fauna, etc.  Each world was different but was perfect, like looking at all the different versions of Utopia imagined.  Then the being turned me around and behind me was a mountain slope of molten rock leading up to where we were and then continuing up to a platform the was an intersection of roads that lead to the different worlds.  Climbing this slope were people with great burdens upon there backs.  Their feet had been burned and deformed by the lava and appeared porcine, and the higher they climbed the steeper the slope became until suddenly they would lose footing and slide back down the mountain to have to start again.  I did feel that the bundles of weight upon their backs were their sin, the physical representation of the evil they had commited in life.  I also felt that it was possible for them to reach the paradise that was above us if only they could shed the burden of their sins.  I had this vision several times, always similar but never the exact same.  Once I had the vision and I was one of the people climbing the mountain and the burden of my sin weighed me down till I was crawling toward paradise on my hands and knees.  Every time I had the vision it was incredibly real, perfect in how it looked, felt, smelled (unfortunately do to my own burning flesh), and in how much detail was in the vision, almost like I had been transported somewhere and was physically there."
