https://occupywallst.org/I live 3 hours from NYC, and just found out about it this morning. Why havent I seen any media on this anywhere? I don't live under a rock...At any rate, it's happening, and the police have moved in in droves. When I first saw it, it took a few minutes to even realize that it was here! It's started...

Wall St. protests end in mayhemBy AARON FEISLast Updated: 7:33 AM, September 25, 2011Posted: 2:30 AM, September 25, 2011 More Print A near-riot broke out yesterday when the week-long Wall Street protests took a violent turn in a clash between hundreds of marchers and cops on the streets surrounding Union Square. The chaos erupted during an afternoon march of about 500 demonstrators as part of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement.Cops were seen making arrests, herding protesters onto a bus, and in one case getting into a fistfight with one of the demonstrators.“They were arresting people who were not even involved in the protests,” said Columbia comparative- literature student Nicholas Allen, 28, who was issued a summons for disorderly conduct. “They were rough. There were people who I saw with bruises on their face.”As protesters marched, they chanted: “Banks got bailed out -- we got sold out!” and “Wall Street! Our Street!”“Police are going to suppress anything that challenges the status quo,” complained college student Moses Appleton, 24, who made the pilgrimage from Virginia Beach, Va.Danny Garza, 26, derided the arrests as “intimidation tactics. They are trying to scare us.”A police source said protesters had no permit to march, and extra cops were called in to get the crowd under control. Cops said about 80 people were taken into custody, and were being processed at One Police Plaza last night. Most of the charges were for disorderly conduct, obstructing government administration and blocking pedestrian and vehicular traffic. One man was charged with assaulting a police officer, who suffered a shoulder injury.Organizers took to Twitter to give a blow-by-blow account of the mayhem, claiming cops were pepper-spraying women. Police said no injuries to protesters were immediately reported. The organizers also set up a live video feed from their base in Zucotti Park , where they first pitched their tents Sept. 17.Additional reporting by Aaron FeisRead more: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/wall_st_protests_end_in_mayhem_aCBP6kpCUuB6moKa7UqA6N#ixzz1YyNC0su0

Its called a media blackout darlin'. What you don't know won't hurt you, out of sight out of mind; pick your favorite saying. Actually there are "occupations" going on all over the world, and you won't hear about those either. Although the groups aren't large they are committed to having their say. I only wish I could be there with them.If you would like to find out more, check out: october2011.org, Mother Jones, Truthout, there are many others as well, but will find good info and links at those sites, especially at the first.BTW, still think America is a "free" country?

I haven't thought America was a free country for a long time. The problem is that there are many that agree that there is not a problem. I was never really a "conspiracy theorist" until a few years ago...yes, I know there have been many issues with conspiracy in the American government, but I really never thought they would take it to this level. I think a lot of the issues lie with the fact that the President mostly has the public interest in mind, but the hostile congress won't throw him a bone. With the new amendment and the creation of "Super Congress", I knew it was on. I haven't been preparing for this as long as some have, but I have been preparing the last few years, adn will continue to prepare for as long as I have to.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RcbpYR5Joc    This was probably one of the best put togather documenteries on some of issues you are talking about that I have seen.  I saw this film quite some while ago and was going to recomment it but low and behold it is now on U-Tube. The movie does make allot more sense then some of the far out consiracy flicks I have seen.If you watch the movie pay close attention to section on the airline boarding passes. I for some reason was one of the marked people that got hassled whenever they flew. I always thought it was just some weird luck of the draw thing, but after coming accross this documentry and checking some old boarding passes of mine I guess now I know. (And I still have no idea why or how my name would even be on their list.)If for some reason the link does not work the film was called "The End of America"

And although it is more about america, if you live in another country you may see similar things going on there that are reflected in this film. So I guess I would recommend it to just about anyone.

I just watched that, (it's available on Netflix), and wow. It's a very scary thing. We really need to do something about this now.

Learn to hunt, fish, garden and preserve your own food. Learn medicinal wildcraft. Learning how to protect your property and family is also recommended. I am a pacifist so that is very difficult one for me, but if you have the means to hunt, you have the means to protect yourself. Not from the government, but from others who would seek to take what you have. Have a safe place to go. Talk to other like minded people. Don't fall into the doom is nigh mind-set floating around, it is counter productive. Just be prepared.BTW, still no news coverage, just as there was/is no coverage of the "oil sands" protests in DC. I wonder how they will spin the October2011 movement come next month? Nary a word I am thinking.

Most of the problem is that someone along the way took a square peg and forced it into a round hole with a hammer. Through social engineering they have succesfully convinced most people in america that we are a democracy instead of a Republic. Basicly we are The Republic of the United States of America and that word has been slowly erased over the years. If you look on old maps and globes the word is clearly there but has slowly and quietely been erased. When is the last time you heard a politician refer to us as a Republic? Believe me most of them would not because in a True Republic they would have to add more jail space for all the politicians that would be arrested. Do you think the Pledge of Allegiance was realy pulled out of schools because of the word God, no I beleive that the hidden agenda to pull it was because of the word Republic clearly stated in the first line. I bet you you 80% of the people living here do not even know that we are suppose to be a Republic, I mean forget about the alien brain wipes this is much more crazy and know one seems to notice it. And don't confuse the word Republic for the republican party they are some of the last people that would want this treated as a Republic again along with their Tea baging budies. I guess a peaceful form of protest would be to start refering to this country as the Republic of the United States of america again.

On the old maps most nations were kingdoms, we were the only republic.

It's almost too late anyway. The Constitution has already been amended to a ghost of what it once was. The problem is, if it is our duty to question the government, how does someone do it without ending up in an offshore prison?

We once were the only republic, and that was good. But what about now? Kingdom's are mostly a thing of the past now. Monarchy's mostly for show. But there are things going on here that boggles the mind, and the worst part is no one seems to notice. What are we supposed to do?

Well I did not mean that old on the maps, I beleive I saw maps and globes up to the 60s maybe early 70s that still said Republic on them.

LOLOh damn I forgot about the printing press they had in their basement, I guess that explains it. You know I think I am going to ask Santa for my own printing press this year.
