I keep looking at those photos and there is just something not "right" about the way they appear in context with the topography. It looks like someone painted the grid over the photo as there is no way a straight line over the hills and rocks would appear straight when viewed. There would be places where the line would appear broken or narrowed depending in the rise of the land and the angle of the sun.

C'mon, peeps... focus! Do you think every governmental leader and military unit that has access to the interweb would be using the street level zoom feature of the Goo, let alone CNN's global data as tactical weaponry? Or that the monsters at the top of the power chain would show you where they live?


I'd rather we explore the "open land" between the hot spots of your neighborhood and our assigned vacation spots, instead.
