One of my favourite books with the above named title was written by an author by the name of Colin Parsons in the late eighties early nineties.I was just wondering has anybody else read this book and what are your opinions??

Hi Weldkatom - I have this book and heve been fascinated by a story in it about a girl trapped in a kind of time bubble thing. It's in the foreword by Gavin Valentine and absolutely terrified me. I'd love to find out more about it but can't find a thing. Is it very reliable? If you possibly know, that is!

I would say it is very reliable.
There were many witnesses,including a chief of police!!
As the author stated,these things tend to be brushed under the carpet so to speak.
The fear of ridicule is a powerful deterrent for people wishing to report such matters.
I have no doubt that there are many people with strange stories to tell,who choose not to,for fear of ostracism.
Its a great book!!

It is frustrating reading these old books and finding stories like this and having no way to really verify them for yourself - at least with the Hexham heads I was able to track down the chap who 'made' them and get his side of the story (which wasn't much!).
