Many mythologies, such as my own tribal mythology states that we humans come from elsewhere. As far as proof, all i am going to say is that it is in the eye of the beholder.

I also think that it is interesting that science tells us that there is a missing link between neanderthal and cro magnon, yet that link has never been found and neanderthal and cro magnon coexisted.  How is it that modern man evolved from neanderthal if neanderthal and modern man's existence overlap?  I'm a big supporter of the intelligent design theory.  I don't know if it was divine or extraterrestrial, but I think that the evidence is there that our species was created by some sort of none earthly intelligence.

This is a good subject, I think that even scientists and creationists keep their theroies very simple, they claim that life spontaneously emerged out of nothing, so they really make it so they don't have to do any more research and assume that they are right, but everything about us is a lot more complex, they never think about the more complex things in life, like all of the radioactive energy passing through our body and cells every microsecond, the fact  that out earth is revolving at 25,000 miles per hour, and that out solar system and galaxy is moving billions of times faster than that. I think that the explaination of life is too simple without involving these variables, they leave all variables out of the equation, including the fact that there are most likely more intelligent civilizations than ourselves. I personally think there is a creator of everything around us, but it is definately not "God" I think there are civilizations that are so complex that they would be a God to us, but we are not even interdimensional beings which our creators are.  From my research and personal experience I personally think that all of our mathematical systems were created by an interdimensional civilization or a being, but since we cannot sence this being they are god to us. But I did find a website that is closely related to what I think, it is listed below. www.Brainmind.com

Oh yeah here is a link to a document on the first DNA starnd created by humans, the funny thing is that they are trying to use life to make computers, wtf?!  I do beleive that our "God" did create us in their own image, so I think that even stem cell research was a gift yet our presidents put bans on it, we were created solely to create life, even if scientists do have trays with 10,000 empryos on them, I still think that our creators wanted this for us but we still reject the complex things in life. http://arstechnica.com/old/content/2008/07/first-artificial-dna-a-step-towards-biological-computers.ars

Some years back a neanderthal was found in good enough condition to take a dna sample, from the dna it was the conclusion that neanderthal was nothing to do with humans.

I remember hearing about that waaaaay back then...But wasnt a later document released saying it was a hoax of some sort or that it turned out to just be an ancient monkey or something and turned out to not be the missing link at all. Im not completely 100% sure. Were working with an 80%/20% kinda chance. If im wrong I would be interested in the link to an article on this subject as I find it very interesting.Im stating that I may be wrong so there is no need for ignorant posts calling me stupid, or an idiot, ect ect ect. OK? I just found this site tonight and im very interested. I love that my alienware mx11 has a lit keyboard, because I think this is going to a long (but not wasted) night!

I dont think their trying to just make computers from life. I believe there was an article in Popular science last year 4th quarter that said that scientists have been working on new technology to  blend brain cells with technology so that the individual cells could control the robots and other tech. Im not saying your wrong just that its a new field and the article above(http://arstechnica.com/old/content/2008/07/first-artificial-dna-a-step-towards-biological-computers.ars) says they are working getting the brain cells to be able to  communicate with basic technolgy and advance from there! Using life to create cmputerss<as you ssaid> is what we already do. I.E. Brains in our heads process information and allow us to build, create, and destroy throughout our lives! ;^)

lol yeah that is really creepy, I have seen the videos of the mouse-brain-powered robots, it survived for 9 days or 9 weeks though off of a circuit board, that is really crazy and might say something about our origins if modern circuitry is COMPLETELY compatable with organic brain cells...

I know what study you're talking about and the conclusion was that neanderthal and cro-magnon didn't interbreed.  It still showed that the two species shared a common ancestor in homo heidelbergensis.  From another study it has come into debate as to whether or not homo erectus is an ancestor of modern humans because there is emerging evidence that homo erectus continued to exist up until around 40,000 years ago which is close to a million years longer than earlier thought.  Other than some anatomical similarities there is no solid evidence that homo erectus ever evolved as opposed to just going extinct.
