The Illusion of Fear

Hello good people, this is a topic close to my heart as i had to let go of all and learn what faith really meant. This was a tough one for me as Fear is conditioned in us all to some varying degrees or other. This is my take on what fear is all about, the illusion created by the few despots, Zealots and dictators who preside over this planet to control the masses.
Here we have scenario 1] An individual with an ego- He thinks of Himself, his needs and wants because he is an "I". This individual has a valid point because he is "I" and doesn't want to lose who he is or what he has built up, because he has worked hard for it because it is his. Fear then creeps in, of not having enough, they don't deserve or of losing it, so he has to have control, a need to protect that which is his, so he has to judge, to pass judgement on others, who will be an ally or to those who want what is his, so in the end territories and boundaries creates our prisons, no matter how well dressed up it is....wars famine etc, are created by those who rule by fear..
Now then, how different picture could be created if all of us here swapped "I" for "we", Gone will be the selfish thought processes because there is everyone to consider, we forget that we are creator beings, that we each of us can create our own heaven, because there is an abundance of everything the thought by itself should be enough to let that fear go. Those who are in pain in the world or who are hungry are shown to us on the news channels we see deprivation and disease, but what if those people are here because they want to offload some karma,or to help others offload theirs, what is shown on nightly news channels is a disproportionate view of what is really happening, designed to create and keep us imprisoned by fear. Love is the only way, its the one constant that is always there in abundance...

Monica, I agree with you and disagree.

Firstly, the selfish "I" mentality is one of the worst plagues I can think of. It IS a poison, you are right. It destroys harmony.

And though I am a huge believer in the potency of love, the power of love. I would like to offer the idea that where we apply our love is relevant. It isn't always the "we" that needs it. I've seen first hand how other abuse the love of the few. Other can leach on love and prey on the generous, the peaceful. I've seen it.

Keep in mind, regardless of who we love, ultimately, the fittest shall reign. It is the way. It has always been the way. Just be sure you love the things that are eternal. Love the things that supersede our tiny life. Love mystery. Love the cosmos. Love science. Love nature.

Monica, I can't help but applaud this dramatic change I've seen in your posts. The previous ones were very negative and full of accusation. You seem to be headed in a healthy positive direction. I'd be interested to see your thoughts if you revisited some older posts of yours. Rewrite them. Rethink them with this new perspective. Who knows...you might have answers we all need.

Well Levinus thankyou, first off the bat i shall say i thought about redoing my posts but that wouldn't be right so i am concentrating on a new direction, i have much i would like to share with you all, and i look forward to hearing the replies, i will say in my defence the previous posts were as i saw things at that point in time, a frightened child not knowing if i was losing my mind or what, things were happening that i had no understanding of, and it didn't help the fact that i reside in a country where there is limited information and a serious lack of resources. Things had to change, when the most a psychologist could offer me was ear plugs and eye mask[she figured if i could block it out, see no evil hear no evil], it would stop whatever was going on changing tack was all i had left. Yes i have a completely different mindset now and i am the happiest i have ever been.
