Budd was probably one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. He was responsible for introducing me to my wife twenty years ago. He brought many people together and was a true professional in the field of alien abduction. He touched many lives and helped many people who were fighting to cope with abductions. He will be geatly missed by those he helped. Budd Hopkins, human abduction syndrome investigator and author, Missing Time © 1981. June 15, 1931 - August 21, 2011

I just saw the news. Hopkins research is invaluable in answering some of the questions of the alien abduction phenom.. He was a good man and will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers go out his close friends and family.

omg....i have just read he is dead.......shit...sorely missed i have everyone of the books he wrote....he contributed so much to the abuction cause as a whole....A great man.... R.I.P BUDD

I was fortunate to meet Mr Hopkins a number of years ago and found him to be one of the kindest, most patient and dedicated people I have ever met. He will be missed.Good journey Budd.

A friend to abducties everywhere.I have faith hes in a better place.I read that he was in a hospice and felt verylittle pain before he died.
