Bitcoins: The Pragmatic Solution to Combat World Banks

While European politicos negotiate in Brussels, deciding the fate of other people's money in Cyprus, the free market has already moved in to help Cypriots get access to their money via other means...

Banks have been closed for the last week in Cyprus and if they do re-open on Tuesday, it has now been announced that daily withdrawal limits at ATMs will be 100 euros per day.

As the Cypriot Drama unfolds before our very eyes, I began pondering what tangible solutions there are to bank holidays and bank runs. What could I do to help in Cyprus and all other countries (like Spain, Greece and Italy) for which, as we have predicted at TDV, bank closures are coming? The answer wasn't hard to come up with. If these people had simply bought bitcoins with their savings, not only would they currently have 100% access to their funds, but also they would have enjoyed a parabolic move to the upside over past months.

All conspiracy theorists that aren't just sitting around bitching all day should be getting into this.

Don't get me started on banks!
The Irish government in their wisdom decided to bail out those cheating robbing bastards at taxpayers expense.
Makes my blood boil!!

Wait are you trying to tell me there is an Irish Government? :) Do the Kaiser shipbuilders know this?
This latest revelation may upset Gary.

The ROI is not ran in the interest of the common Irish people. They represent the land] owners who closed out the small farmers back in the last half of the 1840's. That was the Irish enclosure period and why they are so proud of those white woolen sweaters. We still refuse to buy many of them, these many generations later.

nothing against the sweaters as such. They are likely the best you will find and well worth the money, it is the politics of deceiving simple folks telling them not to plant when they should have planted that lead to a million deaths. It is not the sweaters, it is the process that lead to so many poor people being cheated and killed that is why I object to them. The sweaters are well made.

Its a special disappearing type font we use to
Pass secret messages to kaiser shipbuilding about Gary.
gary107   posted:3/28/2013 3:02:51 PM  (Reply)
we do not use disappearing methods, we do something like Gematric where there is encoded hidden meaning underlining the surface text.
Our methods are much more fun. Sometimes it produces strange syntax.

Bitcoins in the news today. One billion us worth circulating on the web. I can see reasons why, however I would not vest more than I could afford to lose. I have however in light of the sanctified theft of depositers money in cyprus put my funds in cash less than the minimum to keep accounts open. If bankers have done this once they will do it again and again. I suggest that if you have a secure place for your funds to do the same. When I did that there was wailing and gnashing of teeth at the bank. Don't trust anyone.

linc, the reason the Picts invented the kilt is because sheep have acute hearing, they can tell the sound of a zipper being pulled from more than a mile away. Politically correct this.
