"Star jelly" (also called astromyxin, astral jelly, pwdr sêr, star rot, or star shot) is a gelatinous substance that, according to folklore, is deposited on the earth during meteor showers. Today, it is generally believed to be nostoc.

Star jelly is described as a translucent or grayish-white gelatin that tends to evaporate shortly after having "fallen."[3] Explanations have ranged from the material's being the remains of frogs, toads, or worms, to the byproducts of cyanobacteria, to the paranormal.

Reports of the substance date back to the 14th century and have continued to the present day.

Here's your daily dose of crazy. A strange, gooey substance has been appearing all over the Somerset nature reserve that's about a thousand miles away from Russia. The mysterious substances have been showing up ever since the meteor event in Russia a few days ago. Both the tourists of the reserve, as well as the workers there, have described the slimes resembling "something living".

the USGA world earthquake map reports as "poorly constrained" and as a magnitude "not yet determine" the
meteor strike that hit Russia. It was picked up as a quake thouigh it was more of an air blast.

take a map of the Nuke sites in Iran and compare it with a quake map when the two match up then you will know what has happen and that it is a NEW MOON [Moonless] night.

If I found that I would eat it and gain super powers. Or a super potent sickness. Either way it would be interesting. Wait maybe the ufo that supposedly saved the city dropped its toilet before intercepting the meteor. Hmm... maybe not.

Were, if it`s frog spawn, as some are saying, you may eat it and gain warts. Or Super Warts!

when the comet flies through the sky with great heat it may bake the sky creatures who's skin fell in that video from Iraq last year.
