Why are the pictures so small? I tried to enlarge them but it didn't work. I can see a vague eye like shape in the cloud but at that size I can't really say much else.

did you take the picture, is there anyway of enlarging the shot and reposting, , ps isn't there a saying eye of the storm lol

The pic is awesome. I'm a trained storm spotter for the national weather service, and this type of thing does happen naturally with tornadic storms, but with that being said I have never seen a cloud looks so much like an EYE.

I reposted better photos under the title "does this look unusual (better photo)"  my sister took the photo, she was trying to capture some of the rotation....what I find so strange is this is the second time I've seen this ...last time it was after a storm under a wierd rainbow...its been about 2 years ago and it was in the same area of the sky

 does it bother anyone else that the world is ending and it seems like NO ONE is willing to say it but we all know it......... It feels like the world is collectively shutting its eyes and saying "its not real, its not real, its not real its just strange weather its just bad luck, its alllll coincidence"

tried to view the pics above but have to be logged in to aol for some reason so cannot veiw them,  unless its just me, i am pretty useless with computers,  

i would like to think it bothers everyone if the world is about to end, but its not to late as nothing is written in stone, and if enough people take heed something positive can be done to reverse the damage that is being done here on planet earth, as the way things are going its not only unthinkable but catastrophic  to imagine we can carry on plundering this beautiful place without putting anything back, so i agree something has to give, but i doubt very much that this planet is going to blow up or anything close, it is too precious a commodity in the grander scheme of things to be allowed to be obliterated. Its also just a thought,,  that is the average motor car needs oil to keep the engine running smoothly and to stop it from seizing up, well imagine what we are doing to the earth everyday when  people drive their cars,filling it up from our precious reserves of oil, that is a natural substance found in the earth, there is probably a very good reason for it, maybe it keeps the earth temperate, so think of earth as a giant engine, keep it serviced, well oiled, and it will never let you down...hopefully

k now I can see the formation pretty well. It's definetly an interesting shape. Comparing it to a picture of a supposed eye of a storm http://pursuitoftheholy.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/eye-of-the-storm.jpg, it doesn't look quite right. I
