Will the God Particle Replace God?

If you went to church in the 18th century, you would have heard God described as a celestial clockmaker who had wound up the universe and left it to run itself. Today, the wind-up is the Big Bang and the clock's parts are subatomic particles. But the problem of creating matter out of emptiness remains the same. How does matter form from the immaterial? What gives particles their mass, and how do they stick together? The physicists at the CERN facility in Europe are busy using the massive multibillion-dollar Large Hadron Collider to try to answer those questions by hunting for the elusive Higgs boson, the so-called "God particle."Great read :) www.huffingtonpost.com/deepak-chopra/will-the-god-particle-rep_b_625751.html

It's a fruitless search, I tell ya! That's the "problem" with scientists nowadays. If they can't "prove it" collectively, then it doesn't exist. How many wise men have the Community sent to the loony bin because they figured something out that the rest did not, only to have the poor genius released and reinstated after they caught up... decades later? Here's an idea having everything to do with "God", especially since the "scientists" are "going out of their way" to "copy God"....Intelligence has always existed, ergo matter has always existed.I mean, if anyone wants to start with the whole "Let there be light!" thing, well, please immediately discuss "darkmatter", and the idea that there was someone there to do someting about that difference.Silly scientists... always learning, and always refusing to understand that their desire for supreme intelligence proves the existence of a Supreme Intelligence. To look at how exact the cosmos thrives and call it all mere happenstance is ignorance.Good luck, CERN.  LOL

I once heard a theory that I found interesting, though I don't put much stock in it.  A friend of mine was deep in a trance when he started telling me that matter was the product of light slowing down due to an outside force.  He claimed that light can not disperse any of it's energy and to comply with the law of the conservation of energy, matter is formed as a way of storing the excess energy.  By his theory all matter is really just the stored potential energy of light.  My problem with that is he was unable to tell me what force caused the light to slow down in the first place.  I think that the Large Hadron Collider will produce results that will increase our understanding of how light and subatomic particles work, but I think that modern science is on a bad path.  Alchemists and early scientists studied the world and observed phenomena to achieve an understanding.  They took the information that they gained and tried to apply it in beneficial ways.  Now, though, it seems to me that scientists create a theory of how they want the universe to work, then try to find or create evidence to support their view.  Afterwards they denounce anyone who can prove them wrong and protect their unpure knowledge with a fervor worthy of the Inquisition.  Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. -Albert Einstein

This to me is so true. The quote of Albert Einstein. Why do we search for the unknown? To find truth? Of course. But as I found in my research and my belief is that this God partical is and always will be a mystery. Science can search till the stars fade away and still never come to a real truth that makes sense. God is light and energy and God and the angels are so bright and beautiful that it hurts to look at them. Can light and energy slow down? I think so to a certain extent or how would we not see the angels or other spirits and what God created. Is there a logical reason for the planets and galaxies? Im sure there is but God made it that way and science is here for us to pounder over it.

I heard someone say something along these lines that I thought had a lot of wisdom in it.  Paraphrasing: "so you plead with Heaven for the Truth, but the question is, when you get your answers what do you do with them?"

Adornama galaxie has nutron stars crash into each other all the time..They would wipe out earth if two of them crashed in the milkyway.. but they don't ever crash in the milkyway.. The two galaxies are the same.. point is ... God controlls the stars & earth.....

Personally, I think the god particle is just proof of god. In fact it is a gift from god, just like stem cell research and knowledge. I think that god gave us these gifts to help us out, we were all made in his image, we are all in fact god, the gift of being able to replicate ourselves is supposed to save us but people that are too religeous to recognize the gifts of god tend to go against them, simply because their beliefs in god are too simple and they never begin to think "is god complex" or "is this a gift from god?", no they do not ask these questions, because they are narrow minded, when god is not narrow minded. I pity any religeous person that thinks having 10,000 embryos is against god, when the person making those embryos and the embryos themselves are in fact a part of god, if we do not banish our current beliefs we will be doomed, because judging people to punish them is actually satanic...

I also heard this some where. So when they or we do get our answers what will we do with it? Nothing. We will only know the true answers when we cross back over to the other side. Only then will everything make sense including why we choose to come and live this life time. I myself think that the answers will never be found. Science may think they found the answers some day but  I believe they never will know the full truth of this God particle. It is and will always be the great mystery of creation. For us to know how everything is and was created including our own being will make us like Gods ourselves. And this is not possible. We are a product of God in his/her image. Sure some of us act like Gods creating and playing around with creation and doing unspeakable things to the animals,plants,humans,ect...in the name of science. To me this is wrong to experment with mother nature. Yes, some things that help our world and people are good like finding cures and such. What I'm talking about is the unspeakables that should not be done. For example- like splicing to animals together.tearing down the jungles,(plants have medician and possible cures).Creating things that can and will harm us like nuclear bombs. There are people and unborn babies deformed from these man made creations. See where I'm going with this? WE are destroying our selves and our home away from home by continuing to search and experment in the name of science. Some of us here in this life are always looking for the logical reason why everything is the way it is. When we should be looking within our selves for the ansewrs to this God particle. With out these earthly bodies we are light and energy. As is all creation. Packed down to matter and molecules so we can survive in this world called earth. If and when (which I truely belive will not happen)this God particle is discovered I truley believe that God will wipe all creation. There is only one God the creator of all and only he/she knows the true answer to the God particle and thats the way I think God wants it. For only him to know. Religen and science...hmmmm. Open your mind, heart, spirit and you will find your answers within your self.

A recent poll taken among the american populace showed that of the people who claimed they were religious, only 20% of them admitted that they had faith. This means 80% go to church out of habit or as a result of social or familial obligations, but not from any real belief. In other words, kindly take your dying religion's diatribe and proseletyze elsewhere. On a side note, who says the universe happened by accident? Prepare a cake mix, then pop it into an oven at the right temperature. Would you call the resulting cake an accident? Of course not, it was the inevitable result of the right ingredients in the right proportions in the right environment. Putting them together and not getting cake, now THAT would be strange and unlikely.

So I have to ask, if having the right ingredients in the right proportions in the right environment and getting a cake is how you see the universe being created, does that include a baker to put it all together?

IF we are in Gods image, that means there is no alien species older than us or more technological advanced and they cannot be in the image of God, arent we special? How "human like" to believe such a thing. its called God Complex. Some do it holding a gun to your face or a Bible.

the metagene is often discussed behind closed doors.  Its only apparent within us old humans and nowhere else within the universe.  Its said that the greatest secret is held back from humanity and its supposed to be this gene(if we learnt how to nurture this we would shine as true refections of the creator).  If triggered it allows you to violate all natural laws basically become skin to what the movies depict as superman :) (without the kryptonite) :D A good example of this is the story of a navyman aboard a US warship in WW2.  A bomb hit the ship but did not detonate.  This man ran towards the bomb, lifted it and fled to the edge of the ship throwing it into the sea.Its also theorised that this is why ET visitation is continuous around our earth.  They (these ET civilisations) are puzzled and alittle miffed to find that a race out of any natural order (we have free will and emotion mixed together) have within them a particle that no other race or civilisation possess.  They try to introduce this gene into their own genepool and fail....Earth its seems stills carries an high hand in the card game that is called multi universal affairs.

^ its "Theorised". no real hard evidence of intelligent E.T.'s and suddenly there is a "theory" about them? that makes no sense. Sounds more like pure fantasy from someones imagination derived to form a hypothetical possibility based on no evidence other than the idea of "the metagene factor"  which is just based on a report that got circulated around the internet. It was just a methodology  to explore more ideas...nothing more. All thats left are wild imaginations, which is fine and its fun, but no one should be taking it too seriously or based on anything factual...these are the same types of ideas that made fun folklore throughout our history and that we now deem it as pure fiction.i still don't understand how anything E.T. can be theory, try Hypothesis, that word works much better.  S: (n) theory (a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena) "theories can incorporate facts and laws and tested hypotheses"; "true in fact and theory"

You are completely correct, it is about time someone put this subject in the correct light!!!! I am totally in tune with what you have written. And those that choose the path of foolishness will find out in their own time. The evidence speaks for itself except to the intellectually blind which happens to be the majority of the planet at this point in time. I feel sorry for those people. Without belief in something greater than man they are lost!!! If man is the greatest thing that exist woe unto us all!!!! There is a great deal of evidence that dark matter may be the answer to many of our questions and man did not create this matter or any other as fact. We have learned to manipulate matter to some level but we are not the creators of any of the universal components that even we are made of. We are not accidental beings and neither is the universe that we live in.If the morons out there who believe differently would do research into actual science and physics they woul realize that this one fact is now known to most of the scientific community. We are part of a universe that is not filly explored nor understood. It requires an open mind to even begin to try to understand the higgs bosum and other matter that we have only recently begin to study. We will only move forward as a species if we have an open mind to what we do not know, and attempt through study and research to understand the makeup of the universe that we live in!!!
