Giant Holes on Mars?

I think this category could apply exclusively to Martian anomalies. Perhaps I'm too lazy to check more than the top Google result when searching "giant huge black hole deep Mars." My last post on another thread didn't link to my blog, so how in blazes can one have a thread discussion without links? Or will THIS work when I hit submit? http://www.ufoarea.com/aas_marsgianthole.html Anyway, a little less than a year ago on abovetopsecret.com (ATS) there was a thread about SIX OR SEVEN such 100-meters-across black circles on Mars that allegedly are so perfectly vertical - no edge/rim - and so very, very deep as to create the effect of pitch blackness... I don't yet have the original link I saw then. (Name on ATS is Lightworth). Might be quite out on a limb to call bullshit, it's just NASA using Micrsoft Paint or the like, but I'm taking the gamble. I'm betting those black spots are covering up certain things.

Nice...I missed that story. And I agree--it's more than likely an airbrush attempt to cover up something. You heard that story about the hacker that broke into NASA to find UFO photos, and found it, only to get cut off? He was sent to prison, but he said it was completely worth it even though he doesn't have the photo to share.

Or Google Arsia Mons Seven Sisters. On Mars its not far from Olympus Mons; the highest peak. (Wanted to point out that the first post was obviously originally on another board by mistake). There's one "hole" that has a triangular area of terrain leading into it. Still could be photoshopped, though I'm not 100% sure they aren't real holes. Either way they're most fascinating. Peace and cheers.

It looks too weird to be real. lol. Seriously, it does look like a phony, especially from "Snerd"'s link.
