I have never experienced spirits talking via a recording device. When my grandmother died several years ago, I heard her hearing aid whistling. In the physical world she would accidently, but frequently turn her hearing aid up too high and it would whistle. When she died I heard the hearing aid moving about the living room. Didn't need EVP equipment for that.

maybe it was your grannies ghost or one of those "replay energies" that hang in the air and are maybe set off by electromagnetic fields.

Hi Harper, Good suggestions. I am inclined to believe it was her spirit since I had other experiences including the night that she died in the hospital, I came home and eventually went to bed. I woke up and saw her laying on her side next to me facing away from me. The next day is when I heard the whistle of her hearing aid.

EVP's are much too common and seem too "intelligent" to be just an uncanny coincidence. I know that science has it's theories, but tell that to the mother who hears her own son's voice saying, "I'm ok mom" or the daughter who loses her father only to hear his voice later in a recording saying "I love you" I can't explain EVP"s anymore than most other people can, but you have to admit, a genuine EVP is something worth pondering.

HERE HERE! I agree, ghostofearth, some hang around some come and go I have never had evp because i live in a large noisy city, where even the graveyards in the middle of the night are noisy (from the living outside the walls).

I read somewhere recently that Albert Einstein theorized that energy was infinite and did not die. From what I understand he taught that it only changed form. So what happens when our bodies cease to function? Where does that energy go? Personally I think that some of it ends up on EVP recordings, other energy manifests itself into what we call ghosts. I do not question the existence of ghosts, only whether or not they are conscious. Listening to EVP's causes me to think that there is an intelligence to the energy. It also makes me scared to take a shower because...who knows who could be watching. http://www.ghostsofearth.com

I rather enjoy a good EVP instead of a photo or video... leave much more to the imgination. The one thing that still creeps me out are hearing footsteps... makes my skin crawl!

I think the evp is a good form of hearing from the other side.
