Several waves of cattle mutilation were reported in the end of the 20th century. A mysterious “predator” opened animal carcasses cutting out their internal organs. The predator was unstoppable and dead cattle were found even in zoos.

The case was qualified as a true "oddity" by the foremost experts in cattle mutilation cases, on account of the "neatness of the incision." This is a case that occurred in late July, but which remained unknown until now, involving a dog from the locality of Villa Giardino, Cordoba.

The only known modern biochemical process to produce pure hemoglobin from human or animal blood is in a laboratory with chemicals, a centrifuge and strict temperature control. Yet, of all the impossible and improbable anomalies discovered in scores of cattle mutilations around the world each year, since the 1950s, pure bovine hemoglobin can now be added to the list.

CHOELE CHOEL (AVM).- The cattle mutilations caper, which was brought to a close among some officials with the explanation that the animals were attacked--after dead--by a strange red mouse, continues to be a source of bewilderment in Valle Medio as mutilated animals continue to appear.

The head of said agency, Nestor Alcala, became aware of the news item published by El Diario yesterday and immediately ordered the Assistant Secretary of Agrarian Affairs, Juan Isequilla, to dispatch a team of specialists to the area to inspect the animal’s remains.

New testimony regarding the presence of a strange hairy biped, sporting long claws and of an unusual ferocity, were added to the long list of accounts that the police have gathered in this city, after the judge of the court of instruction, Mario Dilascio, mandated a formal investigation on the subject this month.

The television report states that an unknown animal killed all of the pigs in their pens and ripped apart nine male rabbits, leaving one female alive. It was also noted that a duck survived the assault.

According to witnesses, the beast had a hairy body, large ears and eyes, powerful claws in its upper extremities, and issued deafening howls.

The cow’s body was inside the El Oso ranch along an internal road that runs parallel to the barbed wire fence. "On Wednesday the 6th we let the animal out of its pen, and I found it on Sunday the 10th. It had apparently been dead for some two days."

The victim was found beside two dead dogs in advanced stages of decomposition. The Police is trying to ascertain the cause of the woman’s death.
