One of the most fascinating relics of Christianity-a nail from the cross on which Jesus Christ had been crucified, will be transported today to the Nikolo-Ugreshsky monastery located in Moscow suburbs and placed there for worshipping. The information has been reported to "Interfax" by the monastery’s office.

He also added that fragments of relics of John the Baptist and the great martyr George the Victor will also be delivered to the monastery from Kremlin Cathedrals for worshipping.
"The relics will remain in the monastery’s museum," reported the office.
Admission’s office will be opened from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm starting April 9.
"Police will be on guard 24/7 in order to ensure safety of the relics. We expect a large number of pilgrims," remarked the monastery’s office.
