User Email: Majestic 12 Documents
Written By: Logan Hinch
About 1998, I got my first computer and discovered the web and the plethora of UFO information that it contained. I joined a UFO group called Ufology Society International based out of Calgary and one of their contacts e mailed me a document called the Majestic 12 documents. This was not the "original" documents that is now famous but it was a text document containing those original Truman documents, but it had a larger amount of information including, all the way up through some of the space shuttle missions.
At this same time, my friend "BOB" (not his real name), was in Navy Intelligence and was a Russian linguist. BOB, while he was not out on submarines, was stationed at the NSA. When I came in possession of these Majestic 12 documents, I forwarded them on to him to get his opinion of the information, not as a member of the intelligence community but as my friend, a friend since we were in kindergarten and I trusted his judgment.
A couple of weeks after sending these documents to him, he e mailed me back and told me that he had tried to research some of the information through his terminal at the NSA. When he did, he got a security violation. He stated when you get a security violation at the NSA that you have to contact the people that classified the information and tell them why you were trying to access it.
When he called them, they stated in no uncertain terms that " it had nothing to do with your job" and to "leave it alone and never discuss it again" in which he did.
Now for me, this is where it gets a little weird. I have know known BOB for more than 35 years. He is godfather to my oldest daughter and we are still close friends.
Six months after this incident, BOB was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after finding a lump under his armpit. This lump, BOB claims had been under his armpit since he was in high school, which makes no sense to me. You can not convince me that out off all of the physical exams he went through to even get into the Navy, no body picked up on this "lump". I’m not suggesting anything here, but personally I’m not buying it. Something is not right.
In 2002, BOB came to visit me and my family while we were living in Tecumseh Oklahoma. We had been drinking a few beers and catching up and I finally got the nerve up to ask him what he had searched for on the computer at the NSA that got him the security violation. BOB put his head down for a split second and then looked back up at me with tears in his eyes and said to me " I can’t discuss it, I’m sorry".
Bob’s reaction to that question has haunted me to this day, and he still won’t discuss it.
