One of the bigger stories that have come along this month, the SOHO Observatory--a NASA satellite that constantly monitors the sun--has accidentally captured numerous images of disc-shaped objects. Mike Murray, founder of EuroSeti, obtained the images from a spanish businessman who had received over 700 photos from SOHO since 2001, thanks to a giant satellite dish near his home. NASA, of course, is claiming that these are pictures of comets or asteroids. Depending on who you talk to, NASA is also claiming that the photos are camera faults. Hmmm...so SOHO, along with everything else that NASA puts into space, has flaws that make certain objects in space look like disc-shaped UFOs? And which one is it? A camera fault? A comet? An asteroid? If they can’t make up their mind in mainstream newspapers, do they really know?
